About Response Feast
Response Feast is not a typical email agency. And one way we differ from other agencies is that we never work with more than 3 clients at a time.
Why would we intentionally put a cap on our revenue? Isn’t it smarter to have 5, 10, or more clients on roster … raking in all those retainers every month?
Well, for one, we don’t like the idea of constantly chasing clients and devising “retention tactics” to get them to stay.
We’d rather focus on and deliver the only metric savvy clients care about: results. Savvy clients don’t leave agencies that deliver exceptional results.
2 Telltale Signs You’ve Found an Email Agency That Delivers Outstanding Results
All email agencies fall into one of three groups. In group one, you find the List Burners. These agencies blast out emails that give people no reason to stay subscribed. The result? Open rates fall off the cliff, revenue plummets, and unsubscribes pile up.
In group two, you find the Maintenance Agencies. These agencies keep your email program running, but that’s about it. They follow a predictable playbook, sending the same kind of emails readers get from other brands. So your results may be decent, but rarely exciting.
And then there’s the third group of email agencies. This is a group we like to call Revenue Drivers. And that’s because they study your audience … and … they create emails people actually want to open and read. The result?
Arguably the most engaged email list in your niche. And the happy situation where your list size, customer LTV, and email revenue trend up month after month.
Want a sneak peek into how much work such an agency does to get such results?
Well, we recently grew a client’s email revenue from $50,000 a year to over $150,000 a month in 12 months. Here’s what we did to get them from point A to B:
The client sold supplements that address embarrassing issues like vaginal odor, yeast infections, etc. So we bought all the good books on those topics on Amazon. We read all the major studies about those issues and the science behind them. When we were done, we knew far more about the niche than the business owner.
We also went to extreme lengths to understand the audience. We surveyed our customers and prospects, and interviewed all our top fans. We watched the popular TV shows in the niche (yes, there are TV shows on intimate issues). We scoured through the major forums to learn what it’s like to live with embarrassing vaginal issues. We stopped audience research when we were satisfied we’ve become ‘one’ with our audience.
Next we researched all of our client’s competitors. We bought their products, analyzed their funnels, compared their products and marketing to ours. This exercise always gives us ideas on how to a.) position our client’s brand. And b.) create superior messaging and email strategy.
Then came the writing and testing of emails. We constantly A/B-tested subject lines, body copy, pop-up angles etc. … until we had no-lose themes that resonated with the audience. Result: almost every email generated high engagement while making sales (of course).
To further improve revenue, we used those winning email angles to optimize product pages and landing pages. Result: higher Shopify store conversion rate.
We brainstormed with the business owner to create new offers and products to improve customer LTV. That included high-ticket offers a good chunk of customers bought, boosting the client’s profit margins.
Next we used advanced segmentation strategies (like RFM analysis) to target customers based on where they are in their buying journey. (This often unlocks some of the highest-converting segments hiding in most brands’ email lists.)
We continued to find fast and easy ways to grow the client’s email list and boost revenue. (One quick win for most brands is to find other brands that sell complimentary products. And you both send emails to your lists promoting each other’s products. You’ll grow your email list for free while making sales.)
We maintained a solid campaign strategy, using test results to continuously optimize over time.
And more
Most agencies don’t put in half this amount of work for any one client. And the reason is simple. The agency spreads itself too thin. They try to service 10, 20, and more clients at a time. And to get to all those clients, they make their freelancers over-rely on templates and AI.
Unfortunately, that’s how most agencies are. They put their best talent on client acquisition … and farm out your email marketing to “Klaviyo Experts” who can handle “up to 10 clients a month.”
So your email marketing never gets the daily, 1-on-1 expert attention it deserves.
Which is another area where we differ from other agencies. Our best talent all focus on client work. Everyone focuses on the needle-movers that boost your brand’s bottom line.
We devise strategies to improve your pop up conversion rate … welcome flow performance … monthly campaign email performance … website conversion rate … customer LTV … product re-order rate … etc.
Our goal is to make sure the numbers that really matter are going up every single month. Our goal is to give your brand the single most-profitable email system you’ve ever experienced…
… an email system that’s so in sync, your messages always meet prospects exactly where they are …
…. answers the questions going on in their heads …
… and makes them see discovering your brand as the best thing that happened to them that year.
Why We Make New Clients Sign an NDA
One other way we differ from other agencies is that we make new clients sign an NDA. And this NDA binds them and us.
The NDA forbids us from creating revealing case studies with your results. And the reason is simple. Once your brand starts gaining traction in your niche, competitors will start to look you up. They will take all your publicly available information, reverse-engineer your email strategy, and gain valuable intel on your brand. For free.
We do that all the time. But we don’t want anyone doing that to our clients 🙂
Which is why when clients allow us to share results, we only do so in redacted form. We remove the brand’s name and other identifiers from all images.
Response Feast benefits from the NDA by forbidding clients from sharing our internal system files with anyone outside their company. We, too, don’t want other agencies (our competitors) to learn our methods. (Unless they’ve paid us a lot of money.)
Now, let’s talk about the kind of brands we work with. They’re brands who already have an active email list … already have paid traffic going to the website … have a great product(s) … but want better results from their email marketing.
Does that describe you? If it does, then consider reaching out to us.
Your email list should not be something you’re constantly trying to fix.
It should be your most predictable revenue channel. It should be an asset that drives consistent engagement, repeat purchases, and steady business growth. All you need is the right email system in place.
If you’re looking to build that kind of system into your business, reach out to us. If we have a spot available, and we’re a good fit, we’ll help you get there.
